hah wow i forgot i even had this livejournal.
that is until i got a comment from someone saying they were going to sue me, for having her name under an article she claims she never wrote. because, you know, god forbid you write an article for the school newspaper about riots that happened. apparently, writing about things like that can damage a career... um, more like being a part of things like that would damage your career, and it didn't say you were.
you know it's not like i ever heard your name before so i wouldn't have made it up and stuck it there. i certainly didn't do it to spite you because i never heard of you. maybe someone at the clock fucked up and put your name under it so i just copied it. it was 2 years ago anyway, i don't even remember. how can it matter this much?
|article from the clock: Celebratory or Shameful? PSU Students Rambunctious in Red Sox Win
||[22 Oct 2004|06:12pm]
Town of plymouth residents probably wish the National Weather Service would have run their test a little bit longer. At 12am thursday morning, the NWS ran their monthly test right in the middle of the bottom of th 9th decisive game between the boston red sox and the NY yankees. luckily for anyone watching the game, the test only ran for about a minute. ten minutes later, the red sox were on their way to the world series and plymouth state students went to the streets.
Just as the Sox won, cheers and firecrackers echoed throughout the chilly night. Hundreds of students from on-campus dormitories and off campus residences collected on the green outside of Mary Lyon and ran a makeshift victory lap circling down Main Street, up past Boyd, and ending at Blair Hall. From there, the crowd dispersed and students ran off in different directions, most students ended up on Russell Street. As students attempted to make their way to the south side of campus, they were met by police officers rerouting people back to where they came.
Around 12:15am, several hundred students lined both sides of Russell St. and threw beer bottles to the pavement while polivce marched up and down in attempt to keep students divided and under control. Police Deptarments present at the scene included the NH State Police, and Grafton County Sheriff Dept., along with the Nashua, Holderness, Meredith, Bristol, Carroll County, Campton and Ashland departments.
The crowd stayed relatively under control excepting the littered glass and frequent raving "Yankees suck!" At one point, a University Police cruiser pushed the crowd to the sidewalks while driving south on Russell and endured a resounding "Booo" from the students.
At 12:45 AM, three riot police walked up the street, canines and night sticks in hand, to investigate potential problems and 2 students who were sitting in atree leading the crowd in a "Fuck the police" chant. After a few minutes, the officers rejoined the police barricade, and the entirety of the riot police squad ascended up Russell in full force. Over 30 officers advanced o the crowd--some with tasers, others with pepper spray or guns filled with paintballs which they shot onto the ground towards the masses.
One student, Kyle Widness, was advanced upon by a police officer and hit with a taster while standing on the sidewalk outside of his apartment. While questioning Kyle after the event, a riot police walked up and said "Leave immediately or get inside. You're the one yelling, so you'll be the one arrested." After a second push made by the riot police, the crowd finally dispersed and most students returned to their homes. Reports estimted that there were close to one thousand people lining Russell St. at the climax of the celebration.
The College Community Council Neighborhood Watch Volunteers were also trying to keep things safe and under control--VP of student affairs Dick Hage, and Dean of Students Tim Keefe among them.
Activities were ablaze outside of Russell as well. Reports of a small group gathered around a burning mattress behind Boyd, and an unknown vandal had spray-painted "Fuck the Yankees" on a white barn outside the residence of 25 Russell. Also, burning bright was a pine tree set on fire by an unknown male student behind the HUB on property belonging to President Wharton. Mary Lyon Resident Directory Tony Trodella broke the fire case in the lobby of his residence and ran out to extinguish the burning tree. New Hampshire State Police, PSU Police, and the Plymouth Fire Dept. also responded to the scene. According tothe Plymouth Police Dept, approximately 15 people were arrested throughout the night and charged with a variety of disorderly conduct crimes. No major injuries were reported.

this may not make sense to anyone else except a really wonderful person. but i've changed the lyrics and adjusted them a bit. they still may not all be revelant, but its the song. its beautiful too, so download it if you've never heard it.
I can't imagine all the people that you know
And the places that you go
When the lights are turned down low
And I don't understand all the things you've seen
But I'm slipping in between
You and your big dreams
It's always you
In my big dreams
And I tell you that it's over
Wake up lying in a patch of four leaf clover
And you're restless, and I'm naked
You've gotta get out
You can't stand to see me shaking
Could you let me go?
I didn't think so
And you don't wanna be here in the future
So you say the present's just a pleasant interruption to the past
And you don't wanna look much closer
Cuz you're afraid to find out all this hope
You had sent into the sky by now had crashed
And it did, because of me
And then you bring me home
Afraid to find out that you're alone
And I'm sleeping in your living room
We don't have much room to live
I had these dreams that I learned to play guitar
Maybe cross the country
Become a rock star
And there was hope in me that I could take you there
But dammit you're so young
Well I don't think I care
And if I hurt you
Then I'm sorry
Please don't think
that this was easy
Then one night I came walking down the stairs
And all that you could do is touch my long blonde hair
And I've been thinking
It hurts me thinking that these nights
When I was drinking no they never got me anywhere
This is because I can spell konfusion with a k
And I like it
It's to dying in another's arms and why I had to try it
It's to jimmy eat world and those nights in my car
When the first star you see may not be a star
I'm not your star
Isn't that what you said
What you thought this song meant
And if this is what it takes
Just to lie in my mistakes
And live with what I did to you
And all the hell I put you through
I always catch the clock
And now you want to talk
It's not hard to dream
You'll always be my konstantine
Konstantine, they'll never hurt you like I do
No they'll never hurt you like i do
No, no, no no no no no no
This is to a boy who got into my head
With all the pretty things he did
You keep me up in bed
This is to a boy who got into my head
With all the fucked up things I did
Hey, maybe, baby
You could keep me up in bed
Spin around me like a dream
We played out on this movie screen
And i said
Did you know I'll miss you? [x7]
Oh god I'll miss you
And then you bring me home
And we'll go to sleep, but this time, not alone, no no
And you'll kiss me in your living room
You'll miss me in your living room
Cuz these nights I think maybe that I'll miss you in my living room
We don't have much room
I said does anybody need that room?
Because we all need a little more room
